Late last night we got our first trailer for X-Men: Dark Phoenix.

First impressions: I was underwhelmed. Full disclosure, I still have some PTSD from how horrendous X-Men: Apocalypse was. I’m so tired of the X-Men being done dirty when they have so much potential to be awesome. They are like the neglected stepchild of superhero franchises. But, this is only the first trailer and you can only tell so much from that.

With all that being said, you know I’m still going to pay my $16.50 to see this in theaters so. Mess me up, FOX. I am ready to be hurt again.
